HSE DIVERS MEDICAL

Service Description

Required for anyone who is being paid to go diving, diving for media, scientific purposes , teaching diving, or in charge of other divers under water. This is a full medical as prescribed by the HSE, includes medical history,medication, diving history, history of any dive related illness, biometric measurements, cardiovascular, neurological, respiratory, ENT, gastroenterological,vision, and mobility examination. Also urinalysis audiometry (first time and every 5 year) lung function, and fitness testing (VO2MAX). The fitness standard is quite high. If you cannot comfortably manage to run 5K, you are unlikely to pass. Candidates undertaking their first HSE medical MUST complete questionnaire MA1 get it countersigned by their usual doctor, and bring it to the medical examination.
